Honey Girl Waterwear is the original bikini brand for surfers, born on Oahu, Hawaii. It was started in 1997 by designer Louisa Nam, who grew up on a boat floating in Ala Moana Yacht Harbor.
Having grown up close to the ocean, she truly understands what makes a bikini comfortable in the waves. Based on that experience, she continues to pursue a fit that stays in place even during intense surfing, a stress-free feel, and a beautiful silhouette.
Inspired by the nature of Hawaii, the original prints and functional pattern designs honed over many years continue to be popular among female surfers, who say, "Once you wear it, you can't take it off," even 30 years later.

Message from the owner
I started designing swimwear as the owner and designer of Honey Girl out of necessity. I lived on a boat in Waikiki until I was 24 and wore swimwear all year round, so I felt the need for functional swimwear from a very early age, and becoming a swimwear designer was my dream.
Then, in 1997, my dream finally came true when I launched my first collection. Since then, the functionality of Honey Girl has continuously evolved to meet the needs of our customers. All designs are tested by surfers, bodyboarders, and paddlers who are part of our team.
We are committed to the quality of our products, ensuring they are all made in the USA, and especially focusing on functionality and easy-to-adjust designs. We hope you enjoy wearing Honey Girl swimwear as much as we enjoy making it.
